Megan Franklin is a Research Supervisor in the Technology, Media & Telecom Practice at J.D. Power, where she focuses primarily on business telecom, consumer devices, and emerging technology. She is responsible for overseeing the publication of industry benchmark studies within the U.S. Business Telecom Satisfaction and U.S. Device Satisfaction platforms. Ms. Franklin has also managed the Canadian Wireless Satisfaction Study, U.S. Streaming Media Services Study, and several proprietary projects. Her responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations for these studies, from design through final deliverable.
Ms. Franklin joined J.D. Power in 2013 and has served in several research-related positions in both the proprietary research department and the Technology, Media & Telecom Practice, including research supervisor, research specialist and research associate.
Ms. Franklin is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society, a business fraternity offered to top-performing students in AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited universities. She is an active member and officer in her local Toastmaster’s group.
Ms. Franklin earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Women’s Studies from University of California, Los Angeles; and a master’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge; and is completing an MBA at the University of Southern California, with a dual concentration in marketing and business analytics.
