Taku Kimoto is Japan Chief Executive Officer at J.D. Power Japan Inc. Mr. Kimoto is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing the growth and profitability of Japan businesss operations. From 2019 to 2024, Mr. Kimoto led research execution function which supports both of automotive and GBI practice areas.  Up until 2018, Kimoto was responsible for business P/L of automotive sector in Japan. Mr. Kimoto has almost 30 years of experience in marketing research and consulting practices in J.D. Power. Mr. Kimoto spent five years in JDP Singapore office (from 2006 to 2011) and acted as a driving force of business development in the region and highly contributed to growth of the company.

Prior to join J.D. Power, Mr. Kimoto worked for American Express International in sales and marketing department to execute business development and marketing communication activities.
