The Japan Independent Travel Web Site Satisfaction Study is a study that measures customer satisfaction relating to making reservations on the website's of hotels within Japan, and targets those who made hotel reservations on-line through these websites falling under the "Japan Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study" established by J.D. Power and Associates.

Characteristics of the Study

In measuring customer satisfaction, the three factors (elements) of "booking/amendment procedure", "lodging information", and "website usage" where established for the study to obtain the values.The overall satisfaction score was computed (on a 1,000 point scale) on the basis of the guest's valuation in regard to multiple detailed items within each factor.
